Hydro Majestic wedding venues include;
The Casino Lobby: A grand new venue at the Hydro Majestic with glass doors from front entry, marble tiled vestibule, and views through to The Wintergarden. This is an ideal pre-function space or a glamorous cocktail venue for events of up to 150 guests.
The Wintergarden: A spectacular light filled restaurant with grand standing views of the Megalong Valley totalling approximately 350 sqm. The Wintergarden will offer premium afternoon high tea service and a la carte lunch and dinner menus in refined surrounds. This dining room is available for grand functions and dazzling events of up to 250 guests for a seated dinner or 400 guests for a cocktail style event.
Salon Du The: The Flying Fox and Cat’s Alley are united to celebrate all that is Chinese in the history of the Hydro Majestic. A Shanghai chic tea room and bar. Rich in Oriental reds, far eastern murals and luxurious furniture, rediscover the understated decadence of the Empire with some jazz and a martini at sunset. A warm and sumptuous space for events of up to 60 guests for a seated dinner or 150 guests for a cocktail style event.
The Majestic Ballroom: The Grand Ballroom of the Blue Mountains, the Majestic Ballroom will offer formal dining, conference and events with a grand and historical setting. This magnificent domed ballroom with vaulted ceilings and open fireplace, totalling approximately 380 sqm, will also include a parterre courtyard garden. Suitable for events of up to 250 guests for a seated dinner or 400 guests for a cocktail style event
The Delmonte Conference Rooms – Comprising of two function rooms, The Delmonte conference rooms commands spectacular views overlooking the Megalong Valley. Along with the Delmonte Lobby they cater for a more intimate style of conference and special events. Each function room can cater for 40 guests for a seated dinner or 70 guests for a cocktail style event.
The Boiler House: This Café is set in a unique industrial heritage space – the former boiler house for the Hydro Majestic totalling approximately 180 sqm. With dining on 2 levels, the Boiler House will offer a casual dining menu with take-away options for guests to consume at the new Majestic Point lookout.
The Hydro Majestic Pavilion: Operating as a magnificent interactive living history space and the vibrant providores showcase – demonstrating the best regional gourmet food and wine of the area: The Taste of The Blue Mountains. This retail and exhibition space totalling approximately 500 sqm, will be a tourism destination; a place to discover the history of the Hydro, including multimedia screening suite.

Guests are individually served fully prepared dishes, restaurant style. In most cases two different entrées, main courses and desserts are served alternatively.
Waiters circulate the ballroom area, offering guests a variety of light canapés showcasing local produce.

• Chocolate Fountains: Indulge in delectable liquid chocolate with a selection of fruits to dip into.

Location is the key. You and your guests need to be able to get to the venue easily, without worrying about parking, transport and other such hassles. You can have the most beautiful outdoor location in the world, but it doesn’t do your guests any good if they have to park five kilometres away.
You can be as whacky as you like with theme and location, but at the same time your guests must feel comfortable and welcome. So keep up traditional protocols. Greet your guests in the entrance way, making sure it is from someone involved in the wedding, not a staff member of the venue. You can even offer them a glass of wine you like. Importantly, make sure the venue has plenty food on hand for your guests to enjoy.
Music and Audio
Your guests want good music, and they want to be able to hear wedding speeches clearly. So you must choose a venue suitably equipped with a quality music system and microphone.
Many of your guests will be nicely dressed and will want to check their hair and do their makeup, or they may want to use other facilities. So make sure your venue has adequate facilities to meet your guest’s needs. Also remember, it is customary for the bride and groom to change to regular formal clothing after their first dance and wedding speeches, and you don’t want to be doing this out in the open!
Less is more
Don’t go overboard! Simplicity is the order of the day. A simple plain venue gives you more freedom to express your creativity to decorate the area however you want too and stand out. A simple hotel function room is more than sufficient.
